LeMario Brown

LeMario Brown (Born August 5, 1985) is a local farmer and politician who serves as the Mayor Pro-Tem for the City of Fort Valley, Georgia. LeMario Brown was elected on November 3, 2015 as a City Councilman. He is a graduate from Peach County High class of 2003. He received a B.A. degree from “The Fort Valley State University” Spring class 2009. While attending FVSU, LeMario served as President of the Criminal Justice Club and elected “Mr. Criminal Justice” in 2008. LeMario also received an MBA from Columbia Southern University in 2015. LeMario Brown is currently serving as Executive Director for “L.E.A.P., Inc” (Literacy Education for Adults in Peach, Inc.) which is Peach County’s “CLCP” (Certified Literate Community Program). LeMario also serves as a Council Member for the Middle Georgia Regional Commission.

Prior to being elected by the people he served on local boards such as; the Fort Valley Planning and Zoning Board, Fort Valley Board of Appeals, Fort Valley Economic Development Committee, and the Fort Valley Housing Authority.
